There is no pricing for individual presentations. One great price gains you access to all workshops and sessions.

Will it be recorded?

Oral Presentations: are recorded and provided a week in advance to allow attendees to spend time with the content prior to participating in a live Q&A session with the presenters.

We will also provide time prior to the Q&A for attendees to view the recorded presentation, in case you don’t have time in your busy schedule before the event.

The following will not be recorded:

The pre-conference workshops, keynote presentations, lightning round power hour, panel discussion, networking and lunchtime presentation are live events and will not be recorded.

How do I register?

The registration deadline is June 10th, 2021.

Can I buy group tickets and is there a discount?

No, our system cannot accommodate group ticket purchases and there is no discount. Each person must be registered separately.

What is included in the cost?

This All-Access price includes two pre-conference workshops and all sessions over the three conference days.

What can I expect in a virtual conference setting?

Counselling in a Changing World will be taking advantage of the Whova virtual conference platform to enhance the conference experience for both attendees and presenters.

Pre-conference workshops, opening and closing addresses, panel discussion, and lightning round power hour are all held live, as well as networking and connection opportunities.

Presentations will be pre-recorded and available in advance to provide attendees more flexibility to review and reflect on the subject matter. Presentations will be followed by a virtual live Q&A designed for engaging and robust discussion.

The benefit of attending a virtual conference is you can join us from anywhere – the comfort of your home, in a (social-distanced) coffee shop, etc. As an attendee, you will have an opportunity to experience more sessions and get the most value out of your time at the conference as a virtual format reduces the number of presentations taking place at the same time. And, we give you exclusive access to our speakers and presenters – you get to ask questions in real-time and connect in a way that is not often offered at in-person events.

What is the cancellation policy?

BCACC Cancellation/Refund Policy: Cancellation requests must be made by email to Janine Toombs at [email protected]

There will be a full refund, less an administration charge of $75.00 for cancellations received by June 3, 2021.

No refunds will be given for cancellation requests after June 3, 2021. Registration is non-transferable and not available for resale. Registration is strictly handled at the BCACC Head Office.

How can I be sure that my computer will be compatible to watch the streamed sessions?

BCACC’s Counselling in a Changing World will be hosted on the Whova platform and presentations will be using Zoom. Whova performs best when using Chrome as your web browser.

If you are not a current user of Zoom, or you will be using a different computer to participate, you may want to first perform a test to be sure you have Zoom access.

For the best audio and video experience, the most important thing is a strong internet connection. WiFi or a direct ethernet cable connection will both work as long as you have a strong signal. You can test your internet speed here.

The recommended internet speed is at least:

Download speed 2-10 mbps
Upload speed 3-5 mbps

Check your security settings on your computer to make sure Whova and Zoom are allowed to access your camera and microphone.
